Dasha’s Spa operates based on the theory of Somatics, offering treatments that focus inwardly in order to carry healing outward. These treatments focus on physical and mental balance, digestive health, stress release and physical fitness. Professional massage and acupressure are available, as well as beauty treatments, such as facials.

The resort has two individual bathhouses and two public pools where guests can enjoy the hot springs. The service provided is exceptional, as the staff anticipates every need its guests may have. For guests who desire a visit to the real world during their stay, the Wulai Shopping District is just a ten minute walk.

In order to demonstrate the way in which life rituals can reflect art, there is a daily schedule of events. The Sun Moon gong sounds at various times during the day, as both a call to awaken the aura of the earth, but also to bring peace to guests through sound. There is a game of silent chess where two people sit on a boat that drifts in the lake, face to face pondering the peaceful riddle of the sounds of the mind. Each night there is a sounding of crystals, set along the water corridor that is illuminated with candle light, the sounds helping guests achieve cleansing of the mind.

The rooms are a sanctuary of relaxation. TThey offer a simple elegance combined with comfort. Hardwood floors, soothing earth tones, white linen and canopy, curtain draped beds create a romantic setting.

No world class resort would be complete without fine cuisine and Volando Urai is no exception. Chef Abu presides over the kitchen of Siliq Restaurant. From Hong Kong and having worked in some of the finest establishments in Taipei and Dubai, Chef Abu brings an imaginative flair to the kitchen. The restaurant resembles an art exhibition, as each plate is a masterpiece, both in presentation and taste. Siliq, - meaning a sacred bird to the aboriginal Taiwanese – serves the traditional fare, fused with Italian/French culinary techniques. Chef Abu insists upon using only seasonal and local produce. He is dedicated to enhancing the beauty that is inherent in food.
